A free Amazon PPC audit, one product at a time

Ask for your free audit.

Tell us the ASIN, where to reply, and what you think is wrong with its ads. We look at it and come back to you by email. One free audit per person.

Amazon advertising only. We audit advertising on Amazon, and not Walmart, Google, Meta or any other platform.

Thank you, it is in. We will reply to the address you gave. The free audit is one per person.

What you send is used to answer you and do your audit, and nothing else. We keep it until we delete it; ask and we delete it straight away. When it arrives, a notice with the ASIN only reaches our phone through ntfy, an outside notification service. Sending sets one small cookie that says this browser has asked, for 30 days. What happens next

one ASIN, no charge
  1. We look at the product. Then we reply with exactly what its audit needs from you. Anything you send is used for your audit and nothing else.
  2. You get back what to change first. In plain words, in order, with the reason and the number behind each one. Nothing is changed in your Amazon account by us: you decide what to apply.

A real audit, made anonymous

estimates, not results

This is a real free audit we did, for a product of a beauty brand, shared with the seller’s permission. We have taken out the brand, the product and anything that would let you look them up, and rounded the figures. It shows what we found and what each problem is estimated to be worth.

What we foundEstimated worthWhat we told them to do
A lookalike listing held Amazon’s Choice on the brand’s biggest search, while the brand’s own ad held the top sponsored slot there.About $2,000–$13,000 a month in salesReport it through Brand Registry, put display ads on its page and a brand headline ad on the search, and keep the top ad.
At the product’s current price, a click on its main searches is estimated to cost several times what a sale can pay for. If the brand pays that much, then on our estimate of its costs each ad-driven order loses money.Estimated: a loss on each ad-driven order, if its bids are in line with the going rate for those searchesCheck every bid against what the current price can pay, and bring any above it down, no more than 15% a cycle.
Many searches for the brand’s own name showed no ad from it, and a plain search for the brand name steered shoppers to a different one of its own products.About $1,000–$3,000 a month in salesOne exact-match brand-protection campaign pointing the brand name at the right product, and, if other campaigns also bid on the brand name, negatives so they stop competing.
The brand’s paid ad showed on searches for offers it was not running on Amazon, so a shopper who clicks it finds no deal.Under $500 a month in salesRun the same deal on Amazon, or stop paying for those searches.

Altogether: an estimated $3,000 to $16,500 a month in extra sales if every change is made, roughly $36,000 to $198,000 a year; plus, if any bids sit above what a sale can pay, bringing them down so ad-driven orders stop losing money.

An estimate, not a measured result. These figures are what the changes could be worth, not a forecast or a promise, and not something we have measured since. They rest on assumptions about how many shoppers click and buy, and on the product’s current price. If the seller shares what actually changed, we will add it here.

What the seller got back: a four-page summary of the three biggest fixes, and a twenty-page full audit with every finding, the evidence behind it, the steps to fix it and how to tell the fix worked.
